Title: JK Fitness Office: Web based Gym Management System
Authors: Nishanthan, M.
Issue Date: 22-Jun-2023
Abstract: People have recently begun to become more concerned about their food and health, making going to the gym the logical option they seek. The Jaffna district's JK Fitness centers are the intended users of the system. The gym has all the equipments which are mostly up to date according to current fitness trends and also has other helpful products to give its clients a better service. As a result, the number of members would likely grow daily, leading the gym management to choose an IT solution to handle the rising traffic. After determining the user needs by employing various data collection approaches to verify that the requirements were clear, development was carried out. Software was created and developed using an incremental and iterative development process based on the requirements. The manual system now in use at the gym is intended to be replaced by the JK Fitness Office software. The system's goal is to give members quick access to the gym's resources while enhancing the management of the facility. The primary capabilities that were discovered were as follows: member administration, attendance management, payments and expense management, and report generating. It was possible to control access using the login and password. Additionally, user access levels were implemented to control the system's accessibility. The system is capable of tracking members whose packages or memberships are about to expire and will immediately email them a membership reminder. The system can be highly customized, allowing the administrator to manage user access and how the system looks. The system was created as a web-based application, making it widely accessible. Web Application will make use of • .Net5 with Core framework, C# language, jQuery, JavaScript and CSS • IDE – Microsoft Visual Studio • Database – Microsoft SQL
