dc.description.abstract	Learning Management System (LMS) for University of Colombo School of Computing (UCSC) is essential for their learning community to grasp the knowledge about diverse areas. Development of this kind of system will definitely helpful for UCSC online learning community. ATutor open source was used to develop this project, and in this case, some features of ATutor project were enhanced and some features were added newly. Areas of Quizzes, Assignments, and Seminars for the courses were considered. Facilities of random question generation for Tests, Assignments, Grouping Assignments, Seminars using synchronous communication between learner and the instructor were incorporated in this system. Main goals to achieve were to enhance the Quiz facility, provide the Assignment facility and the Seminar facility for the system. Web development open source platform LAMP with some open source tools were used to develop this LMS.	en_US
