Title: Automated System for SriLankan Airlines Staff Travel Request System

Abstract: The core IT requirement for an airline consists of a passenger reservation system. Project aims to implement an automated ticket booking system that takes input from passenger reservation and automatically generates PNR (Passenger Name Reservation) with corresponding ticket printing process. Automation consists with visual Java Interface and IBM TN3270 emulator. The whole system is programmed using of Java. To identify, appropriate sources of information. For example, a company like Marcator (Marcator comes under Emirates Group of Companies) already uses this type of methodology for air cargo reservation system. By the end of this project and study the reader should be able to understand how to use (read & write) IBM TN3270 emulator using JAVA technology for ticket booking and printing process, and the role it will play in meeting the business requirement, and what it provides. To further assist the reader's understanding, the text will be supported, where appropriate, with clear illustrations and necessary graphics.
