e-Learning Module for Image Processing

Abstract

The dissertation has been prepared to propose a fully functional Dynamic e-learning material for the Advance Digital Media Technology Centre of the University of Colombo School of Computing.

The Image Processing is to enhance the appearance of the pictures/ photographs using digital computers. The proposed e-learning module explains theory knowledge of image processing and its practical knowledge and techniques. The Image processing covers vast area and it consists of many mathematical related complex theories and Image enhances techniques. This Module Includes simple and logical try out exercises, explanations and examples. These try out excises give real life experience for the students and it is simplified theoretical section as much as for learner’s understandability.

The content is written as much as in simple way for better understands. Narration is available in each and every page to enhance the quality of the module. Lesson end test is available end of each and every lesson to check their performance. The system itself tracks the student record until end of the module. Quick feedback and the score will be available during this module. The WEB CT provides the learning management system (LMS) and it is the main platform to access this module or CD ROM based also available.
