MIS For Student Welfare (UCSC Undergraduates)

Abstract

Providing welfare facilities for students is an essential role in any university in local or overseas counties today. Managing such welfare activities in an organized manner, matters mostly for providing a high-quality service for students. MIS for Student Welfare System aims this target of providing high-quality service for UCSC faculty of University of Colombo. It is focusing on providing a three-tired architecture web based solution under the open source software environment, which interconnecting together the undergraduate students of UCSC with the academic office. Objective of this report is to analyze the general introduction of the areas that the system covers and the literacy survey of systems related to it followed by the requirements. This also intended to cover the current status of the system life cycle and the achieved goals up to current date. According to the project plan, concepts and system design were covered. Currently, the system is in the testing and user acceptance stage of its life cycle.
