Abstract: Web Based Fault Repair and Complain Management System for Lanka Bell (Pvt.) Limited is done as the individual project of third semester to fulfill the need of completion the Degree of MSc in Computer Science. The project aims on the automation of existing Fault Repair and Complain Management process that currently happens at Lanka Bell (Pvt.) Limited. It involves entering faults/ complains, identification of repairs, team assignment, team notification, change team, material entry, team administration, close repairs, querying and reporting facilities. The system was developed in a web based environment to provide a user friendly, online and multi-user access environment. An artificial intelligence server is used for identification of fault and Short Messaging Service was used for the notification of the fault or complains to the team.
