dc.description.abstractIn this 21st century learning and teaching patterns are in really revolutionize with new information communication technology in the world. World Wide Web becomes most popular. Those who wish to learn amazing which they can explore through the internet. People can earn degrees online. In our country University of Colombo School of Computing make supreme effort to circulate the online learning culture among learners. In this project was attempted to advance online learning routine surrounded by the learners. It was decided to develop “e-Learning Package on Mathematics for Computing – II (Based on BIT Module IT3202)” join with Mr. Anton Kithsiri who was first batch of the MSc. in Computer Science. Mathematics for Computing II is a compulsory 60 hours module that should be followed by the second year (3rd semester) students which is studying BIT. This learning package was covered last 30 hours of the syllabus. The project was developed the content consistent with the syllabus, Quizzes and test for the lesson vectors, Part of Differentiation and integration and Basic Statistics compliant with arts and science of eLearning development. The students can be access this lesson through MOODLE learning management system which is used by the University of Colombo School of Computing. It is flexible, user friendly free open source learning management system compatible with Windows operating system as well as LINUX. It facilitate with ADL SCORM Compliant lessons that I was described in chapter 2 of this dissertation. I was used eLearning development techniques in utmost to develop the system. There was used easy tool known as “Tool Book instructor” to implements the course contents and quizzes. The system was attempted to interact with learners using flash animations and narrations with Tool Book activity to gain the reality.en_US
