Abstract: In this busy hectic world people are extremely busy, that they pay very little attention to their health needs and statuses. For an individual who is having an allergic reaction to changing environment factors based on the geographical location where the individual is currently in, ignoring such factors will be a life threatening scenario. The proposed system tries to advice such individuals with the allergic risks that are there in a geographical location with the use of a short messaging service provided by a mobile service provider. The measurements related to allergens for a geographical location will be collected by means of community knowledge relative estimations and web mining with named entity recognition used in natural language processing. The approach in this implementation tends to be a low cost solution for providing valuable information for hypersensitive individuals which leads them to experience a better quality of life. Since there is no cure for the hypersensitive allergic disease, only possible option left is prevention. The proposed system response with an advice and the hypersensitive individuals can get a preventing action or completely avoiding the geographical location based on the advice. Identification of user location is done through Global Positioning System values or cell information provided by a mobile service provider. Google Maps web service is used to convert the geo coordination system values from Global Positioning System to an addresses or city name and vice versa. The community updates are collected through a java mobile application running in a high end phone and natural language updates are done in a wiki site hosted by the system. Different allergen types identification as named entities in wiki web pages are done with the use of GATE text engineering tool. The system uses java as the main platform language and other Open source software tools which runs on minimum amount of hardware configuration.
