Abstract: Financial institutions as one of the principal agents that influence the foreign remittances have to be prepared to evolve the ways to collect and deliver services. The banking industry is not exception as the products have become more customized nowadays. The fact of having a range of different products like Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) cards it is not a competitive advantage anymore. The products have quite similar benefits and facilities to the customers. The study is titled “Customer Relationship Management(CRM) System for Migrant Workers”, relating to manage customer relationship of National Savings Bank(NSB) and track movement of the customer for the purpose of Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment(SLBFE). As a benefit of this system customer would be able to update with NSB products and dependant of the customer will be able to posses NSB facilities and services in high priority. The purpose of this report is to document the various stages of development throughout the life cycle of the project. The system takes ATM transaction details from ATM Base24 Switch through a text file. By the extraction location of transaction place from above file, customer movement will be notified. Customer contact details such as email, contact numbers will be taken at the registration level of the customer. With the use of these data, the system makes communication with customer through SMS. Customer is able to receive notifications from NSB. Dependent will be able to receive special gifts on their birth days and other special events. The system communicates with other related existing systems through web services.
