Abstract: The history of hand gesture communication is coming from ancient age. Though the verbal communication is the main communication method in current world, it is not a unique communication method due to there are large number of languages in the world. If we can use the hand gesture communication again in a proper manner, the communication in human interactions will be easier. Arrival is one of best Alien movie which introduce the gestures are the perfect way to communicate between creatures. Technology is spreading vastly in our world. Hand gesture recognition systems are rigorously developed in the world as well. Every human has to move with these new technologies as well as the future technologies. But when we consider on disable people, they are struggling to interact with technologies due to their disabilities. Let’s consider a person who cannot walk and he needs helping hand to go through his life journey. What happen if we offer him a wheel chair that can be worked with Hand gestures? It is a great help to walk on their life journey. Hand gesture can be used to communicate between people as well as between people and machines. In this project, Hand Gestures plays a vital role. We will hope that this invention will support for the disable people to mitigate their disabilities in the communication on the domain of computer interactions. Though many historical researches can be found on Hand Gesture Recognitions, those cannot be applied for the practical scenarios. What we are performing in here is feed the processed Hand Gestures to activate an automated wheel chair. This practical scenario can be defined briefly as follows. First the Hand Gestures are captured via a camera and feed them into a Python program. Then the output of processed Hand gestures are fed into Arduino program as inputs. Then the Arduino program decide the movement of the wheel chair and provide output as commands. Finally the motors running on the wheel chair get these commands and operate. This will to segregate medical officers from patients when the patient needs to be separated from others due to viral infections such as COVID-19. This research is offered for all the Medical officers who were engaged with the Pandemic situation happen on 2020 due to COVID-19 virus spreading.
