Issue Date: 2017
Abstract: Abstract Ministry of City Planning and Water Supply is the government organization providing safe drinking water for the country. In the process of handling water projects, the organization need to handle investments such as works, goods and services. So the investment should be procured before award. The process of procurement is carried out manually using huge paper-based documents, limited staff availability, lack of proper storage etc. Automated system implementation will be a great solution to overcome these barriers and provide more efficient transparent service. This system has provided many facilities such as project assignment, funding agency registration, contract assignment, procurement entity and contractor registration, committee appointment, bid registration, bid evaluation, generate reports to the right time etc. The procurement process management system has been developed based on the SCRUM framework. JavaFX which is an object-oriented language as well as good teaching language has been selected as the programming language to implement this system and NetBeans has been selected as the IDE (integrated development environment). Further MySQL workbench tool use to create database to store the data of the system. Scene builder has been used to generate UI of the system.
