Abstract: Fuel consumption is increased day by day since every person use private vehicle for their day to day activities. Fuel queue is getting huge near the every fuel station especially in peak hours. Manual process is used in fuel filling and most tasks related to fuel stations are manual. Most of time accountant or authorized person dedicates extra time for balance daily transactions at fuel stations. Vajira Group of Co (Ltd) is leading fuel station at Warakapola town. Daily fuel consumption of this station is thousands of liters. Also they have offered other services as well. Such as filling normal air or nitrogen, selling lubricants and selling goods related to vehicle services. For the convenience of the fuel station some advance technology has to introduce in order to manage their daily transactions easily and effective way. This dissertation describes a project related to web based system for fuel station. Aim of this web based system is to help fuel station owner to manage own work station with effective way and also customers can find out petroleum/lubricant/carcare details and fuel station location with contact details. The object oriented development techniques are used for the build of this propose web based system. Waterfall model was used as software development approach since requirements are clear and vague. Bootstrap was used for interfaces design since which is modern technique to build web pages easily. PHP was used as programming language and WAMP/XAMPP server was used as local database server. Backend databases were handled using SQL language. Outcomes of the project are as follows;  Manual records keeping tasks can be removed using this propose web based system since the system can keep records related to suppliers, stocks and sales.  Also management can get quick decision regarding reducing stocks whether order reducing stocks quickly or not by referring pre-order level. For the convenience a notification will be displayed automatically in every minute when stocks are equal or below pre-order level.  Further management can schedule price update automatically on given date and time when government announces fuel price update on particular date and time.  Management can get further decisions regarding sales of fuel station easily by referring generating reports.  Management can easily publish promotions, discounts and/or anything related to the business through website.
