Abstract: ABSTRACT Lokupitiya Enterprises is a well-known metal distributer in Nawagamuwa area. The company is established in 1993. At present they provide various kinds of metals. Due to its fast growth, the company has become a very popular business place by now. But they still use a manual system to manage their day-to-day business activities such as customer order management, issue bills for sales etc. Because of manual system, it needs much effort and time to search historical data and decision making and view details on purchasing. So, the existing method for handling the business activities is problematic due to the manual methods. This system will help to overcome existing problems like lack of efficiency, data redundancy and the system will be developed as a standalone system. Proposed system supports for tracking order management, user privilege management and proposed system can generate all kinds of useful reports. It will support management to achieve their business goals as well as they can be well informed about their business. By using this system, a responsible person such as admin or manager can control the accessibility of information relevant to the users who deal with the system and will ensure the security of the information. This system is designed to fulfill all user and system requirements which will also assist all the employees in the business place to work efficiently and maximize their profit. The proposed system follows MVC architecture and foundation is JAVA language with OO techniques. OOAD was used for the designing phase, as Agile is the process model that is used for the proposed system. This solution will mainly be developed using java, JavaFX, MYSQL, Hibernate and jasper reports.
