Human Resource Management System For Epitom Consulting

Abstract

ABSTRACT Epitom Consulting (pvt) Ltd an experienced, prestigious and most well-known Consulting Company in Sri Lanka .It also provides various value added services such as marketing, Web Development & Web Design, corporate training and Business plan Writing etc. At the moment Epitom Consulting maintain a system based on Excel worksheets and manually for their Human Resources management, Payroll system and other administrative functions. This Human Resource Management system cover employee management, employee attendance, recruitment management, leave management, on boarding, off boarding, payroll management and other human resource management functions at Epitom Consulting (pvt) Ltd which was initially carried out using manual processes. The requirement analysis, design and the development of this system was achieved through object oriented techniques. UML diagrams were used to analyze the requirements and to draw the design. The architecture used for the system is MVC architecture, which stands for ‘Model, View and Controller’. The system is connected to the intranet within the Epitom Consulting (pvt) Ltd and all the employees at the epitom consulting are able to access the system.java language was used to develop the system while MySQL was used to implement the database. Tomcat server was used to develop the system. The new system has been developed to overcome the existing problems and make the Human Resource Management processes effective and efficient.
