Abstract: ABSTRACT Axia (Pvt) Ltd is a pharmaceutical company in Sri Lanka. Its main business is to retail pharmacy and import of professional and home care medical equipment. Presently Axia Pvt Ltd cater to over 5000 prescription a day from their three outlets in Colombo. There is no a online system to store data and they are using a standalone system. It is hard to handle a standalone system because there are many distributors and more transactions and functions such as tracking distributor level RD sales, tracking of brands / product level RD sales, tracking of area / town level RD sales, tracking outlet level RD sales, ...etc. The system helps to manage their day-to-day processes such as ordering goods, receiving goods, invoicing, paying using cheque or cash, returning sales, adjusting stocks, transferring stocks, putting cheque or cash receipts, ...etc. They can get annually, monthly or from selecting relevant data range report like sales reports, moving sales reports, stock reports and reference reports which help to get top level decisions to the management. This system will help to enhance the performance of the organization and to solve up all problems involve with this standalone system. The company can check the all transactions of all distributors and more using this system easily. This system will provide a user friendly and simple interface to the users. Then it will help to them to provide a reliable, quick and effective service to their members. Further, the best part of the online system makes it possible to monitor the Axia (Pvt) Ltd processes from any location via the internet and it also could be operated either in Windows or Linux environment. This system follows ASP.Net normal form architecture and use C# language with Object Oriented Techniques. Visual Studio 2010 IDE was used to implement the system. MSSQL Server 2008 was used as a DBMS in windows environment. At the end, the system implemented successfully and it was hosted and also this online system achieved client requirements successfully.
