Abstract: ABSTRACT Sun Lanka Auto Service Centre is a well-known vehicle service provider in Galle area. Currently whole process is done manually which is engaged with heavy paper work and it is time consuming, inefficient and error prone. Therefore it is necessity to automate the current manual system into fast, efficient automate system for better service. The Web Based Auto Mobile Service Management System is built to overcome some of the problems and inefficiencies of the current manual system. This system has provided many facilities such as online reservation, customer feedback facility from customer’s end and Labour registration, Item registration, Labour assigning, Item allocation, Job assigning, Task Allocation, invoicing and generate customized reports from admin’s end. Management can track daily, monthly sales and income by using various reports. At the same time system facilitates the mobile app for all the customers. Therefore vehicle service status, service history details can be seen to customer by logging to the mobile app. The proposed system has been developed according to the Rational Unified Process (R.U.P). PHP which is an object oriented language was used to implement this system as the programming language. Further MySQL server database has been selected as the database to store the data of the system. Further this system has provided automation of the processes and become an aid to face the competition and future forecasting about the business.This system features are user friendly, easy to use, and contain graphical tabbed interfaces.The system includes all necessary functionalities to support smooth and effective procedure for managing day today activities of Sun Lanka Services.
