Abstract: Eagle Eye Data center Environmental Monitoring System is developed for brandixi3 server room requirements. The system is designed to benefit the data center administrators, System administrators and Technical manager in the organization. Modern day Server rooms are designed with all the latest technologies. Datacenter Environmental condition monitoring is a new area focused by the infrastructure engineers. This project will focus on this concept with a solution that will be a combination of hardware and software integration. Datacenter environmental data analysis is an area that hasn’t been explored when it compares with other technologies associated with server room monitoring. Nowadays with large data center system environments coming up, environment monitoring is one of the most critical system administration duties. Also most of the current Systems in the market do not provide complete server room monitoring solution. Usually monitoring devices covers a small range area, which is insufficient to cover an entire data center environment. Identifying and understanding data center environmental condition patterns will provide administrators with new ways of thinking. Eagle Eye Data center Environmental Monitoring System is a combination of both Hardware and software components. System was designed to monitor the environmental conditions in a large data center. Monitoring is done using a sensor node base architecture. Mainly Temperature, humidity and other parameters will be monitored using the relevant sensor and transferred to the Microcontrollers as analog or digital data. These data will be evaluated against the predefined threshold values. In case if a threshold exceeded, Signal will be trigger to the SMS module in order to send an alert message for the system administrators. All these data gathered by the sensor node will be transfer to the Software system for further analysis. DCEMS facilitates the objective of delivering a simple and versatile solution to monitor the company’s datacenter environmental conditions in an efficient manner while providing the important consolidated information in the form of reports and graphs for management.
