Abstract: LTS Engineering (Pvt) Ltd is a building construction company which builds houses. It has been in building construction field more than 15 years. The company faced a lot of difficulties by using a manual system to handle construction project works with the rapid growth of the business such as maintaining a heavy bulk of paper based records, poor customer relationship, difficulty in handling project when client lives in abroad, difficulty in handling number of projects simultaneously etc. The proposed system will support to overcome those problems and to increase the efficiency of the business process and profits. This system will facilitate clients to view project progress by schedule and frequently uploaded images without doing site visits, to do brand selections online, to view budget details online. Further this system will provide the facility to generate useful reports, user management, efficient way to handle clients and project’s details and attractive user interfaces for easy use etc. The system is developed according to the Rational Unified Process (RUP) which supports object oriented concepts and developed using Codeigniter 2.1.0 framework, Bootstrap V.2.3, Netbeans IDE 8.0, Adobe Photoshop CS5, Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, and WAMP server. HTML, CSS, JS, AJAX, JQuery and PHP are used as scripting languages of this system. The final outcome of this project is to provide the client with a web based application that will meet clients’ requirements.
