Web Based Event Management Solution For Asia Tours & Events

Abstract

Asia Tours & Events is a private organization that provides service of Event Management, offering a tailor made solution for conferences, weddings, parties and corporate events. Managing events is not an easy task as there are three stages of an event. (Pre-event, during event and post-event services). Managing an event from the beginning to the end through the manual process is complicated and not easy. Handling delegates, manage resources and event calendar from the event site are some of the complicated tasks of an event. The proposed system will support those tasks by automating the event calendar, dynamic floor plans, manage delegates and resources. Further, it helps the process of budgeting, client details, and login management and provide efficient reports. And the attractive interfaces and web based system provide accessibility and a user friendly system. The project is implemented using Netbeans IDE, MySQL Server 5.5 is used as the database server and Apache Tomcat 7.0 Server is used as the web server. Coding is done using java programing language and advance J2EE web concepts. Further, Microsoft Visio has been used to draw design diagrams shown in the report. At the end of this project web based application that full filled client requirements will be deployed in clients web server.
