Abstract: Dunagaha coconut producers co-operative society Ltd (DunCoop) is a reputed co-operative society among the coconut land owners in Gampaha district. There are more than eight hundred registered members and they supply their coconuts about once in two months. At present all the transactions and functions of them are done manually and the exchange of data between the two branches is done over the telephone and by the employees. It is hard to handle a manual system for these transactions and functions. The system mainly manages three areas. They are coconut purchasing, production and sales. There are also other areas which are related to the above three functions such as employee management, member registration, order management and stock management. In addition to the above this system will cover report generating, providing relevant graphs and notifications. The system was developed according to the object oriented techniques. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used in the analysis and design phases. Eclipse JUNO was used to implement the system in java using spring MVC (Model View Controller) framework with MySQL server in the windows environment. The project will achieve the client s functional and non-functional objectives and provide an efficient and user friendly environment. The system will help the DunCoop to improve the efficience of their transactions and functions by reducing the time and human effort and connecting the two branches to handle the work load and transfer data easily.
