Many services and products (spectacle frames, sunglasses and hearing aids) are provided by the Vision World OPTICALS as Opticians and Audiologists. Their business activities have been carried out as manual processes. The problems such as access difficulties of manual records in log books, insufficient customer relationship handling, time wastages of the customers during the eye consultation and difficulties of manual report generation process were arisen through their manual processes. The major problem was the marketing problem of their new products and services. Online Marketing Web Solution was decided apply to the development process. It was decided to develop the system as web based system because many requirements were need to be achieved as a web solution. Online customer accounts functionality will be aided to maintain customer relationships. Administration Panel will be helped to the staff and client to maintain the web system as they required. Online reservations will be helped for the customers to save their consultation time. Online shopping cart will be given online ordering facility to the customers. Virtual frame fit option will be helped for the customers to select products (Spectacle frames and Sunglasses) even at home. And also there are many functionalities which are required to improve business activities. Rational Unified Process methodology was selected as software development methodology. CodeIgniter 2.1.2 is the framework which used for the development process. Adobe Dreamweaver CS6, phpMyAdmin database management system, mPDF 5.6 report generating tool, BootstrapV2.2.3 and Adobe Photoshop CS5 are the main software environment used by the system development process. WAMP server is the system s web server. Server-side scripting language is PHP. Client-side scripting languages are HTML, JS, JSON, AJAX, jQuery and CSS. The developed system can be operated by the web browsers such as Mozilla Firefox, IE10, IE11 and Google Chrome. The client was satisfied with the developed functionalities and also it will be very useful to upgrade the business processes of the client.
