Electronic Medical System with Office Administration for Chunnakam Medical Clinic

Abstract

Private medical clinics play an unavoidable role in giving medical services to find solution to health problem of people easily and quickly. Although most people in both villages and towns are dependent on the private medical care centres and clinics. It is still a serious problem that most of the private medical care centres have lack of systematic methods to handle their process so as to give quick services to the patients. To overcome such hindrances, Chunnakam Medical Clinic has introduced Electronic medical recorder which is fully computerized so that all internal and administration process such as register the patient, checking the room availability and chatting with everyone can be easily regulated. Furthermore this system would be a bridge between the doctors and patients so that the patients get necessary medical care, treatment and medical advice without fail and in time of need. Web based system for Chunnakam Medical Clinic consists 5 category of users, alert facilities, generate bills and reports automatically. Unauthorized users cannot access system?s data. It has been developed using PHP, Apache webserver and so on. PHP, which is a server side scripting language, has been used for making dynamic and interactive web pages. JQuery, which is a JavaScript library, has been used to improve the speed along with AJAX which is the art of exchanging data with a server and updating parts of a web page - without reloading the whole page. This system has been designed with user-friendly to do work effectively. It has been developed so that any users can login with username password. Admin panel, which has a power to monitor the all of the users and patients, can view patients? testing reports easily. It gives responsive facilities for mobile handling users.
