Especially, one of the AUP principles is that AUP has to be tailored into one s own needs. Thereby the flexibility AUP render is very helpful for agile process. Object oriented methodologies and Model, View, Controller architecture will be adopted as well. Web based system was chosen considering the benefits web based systems offer in over traditional desktop applications. Uses widely used and reputed open source technologies such as PHP and MySQL to build the system. Hence the platform independency, little pre-setup and anywhere access will give the system a competitive advantage. The system development cost is lesser than the existing software in the market. This is achieved by the heavy use of free and open source software. As a company, the system is expected to address current problems they are suffering within the manual system. The idea behind the new web system is to overcome the above-mentioned problems. Introducing products ordering methods via creative web interface to interact customers will help to improve company customer base and sells. The proposed system provides online facilities such as booking items, booking for consultations and handling personal accounts through web site. Also provide User Management, Product Management, Payments, Point of Sale, Stock Control and Reports.
