Web Based Employee Profile Management System For RAOSS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

Abstract

RAOSS is a well established private sector organization which was started in 2000. They started in small scale and now they become a leading software company in the Sri Lanka. Currently they are handling all employees details and employee s evaluation documents tasks manually. They face so many difficulties in the process of evaluating the performance of employees. RAOSS is planning to go for an online system to manage organization people profiles and appraisal processes more effectively and timely manner. This system is basically developed to manage the human resource process in the organization. The system is capable of handling, employee registrations, employee profile creation and maintenance, employee appraisals, employee rewards process, view reports and The system facilitates with a single screen to display selected members profile related details and it helps to access profile details simultaneously when required. Also registered members can access this single screen to view their profile details. The core system is developed based on N-layered architecture and Object Oriented techniques. C# is the main Programming language and Visual Studio 2010 used to develop the system. MSSQL and the backend were configured with SQL Server 2008. System can implement with Microsoft Windows XP / vista / w7 environment. The system was thoroughly tested in a multi-stage testing process which included unit testing, integration testing, system testing and acceptance testing. Overall, Web based Employee Profile Management System (EPMS) was able to successfully manage human resource profiles and appraisals processes with user friendly and efficient environment to those who use this web based system.
