Issue Date: 16-May-2015
Abstract: The Methsuwa Medical Center is a leading medical center for clinic & channeling situated in Uhana. Currently it is a rapidly growing company & a necessary center for people. But they do not have any computerized system to handle their day-to-day processes. They do all their processes in the manual file based system. This system manages the clinic & channel details of patients. The system has developed as a web base system and also Clinic & eChanneling System (CAECS) is built to overcome some of the problems and inefficiencies of the current manual system. CAECS also helps to manage their day-to-day processes such as handle appointments, doctor allocations, patient management, investigations, management, checkups, prescription, admitting and discharging etc.. CAECS will provide a variety of reports to help get their decisions easier. They can get day end reports, variety of checkup detail reports, appointment reports, investigation reports, prescription report, and employee reports as well as admit & discharge reports and patient reports etc. The Clinic & channeling System for Methsuwa Medical Center is just another example where the existing manual system is computerized to managing high risk, increase the efficiency and effectiveness of it without introducing any additional complexity to the end user. CAECS is built in a way to cover the overall administration processes of the medical center, such as Doctor Allocation, Human Resource Management (HRM), Stock (Medicine) Management, Employee Performance Tracking and Report Generation. Further, the best part is the web based system makes it possible to monitor the Methsuwa Medical Center processes from any location via the internet and it also could be operated either in Windows or Linux environment.. I have used Object Oriented Techniques all over this project and Unified Modeling Language (UML) is used in the analysis and design stage as well as system has adapted Model View Controller (MVC) architecture. Eclipse EE-Luna was used to implement the system in the Java language with the help of Apache-tomcat-7.0.4 server. At the end, the system was implemented successfully and it was hosted on server computer and also this web base system achieved client requirements successfully.
