Title: Web Based Managers Daily Recap System For RAOSS Lanka (Pvt) Ltd.

Abstract: Selected well-established Software Development Company. Company name is RAOSS. They are developing several types of software solution for their customers. Main branch is located in China. Basically they need to manage income and sales under current manual process using current transaction types. They are facing so many difficulties with manually generating their reports. Because they have huge number of logs manually entered. They need a computerized system for managing their recaps. Finally they called system as Managers Daily Recap System. My final goal is producing a system for them to continue their business effectively. This is a web based application. All users can communicate with system very fast, accuracy and secure manner. This system mainly categorize in four section. These four areas are Master Data Definition [used to define all master data which support to the system functions], Managing [all functional activities related to reporting, managing users, generating reports and monitoring], Cashiering [all functional activities related to the managing Cashier log process (sales process)], and Money Dropping [all functional activity related to the managing money drop process (income process)]. Home page providing the summarized dashboard to get idea immediate situation. Summarization go under lots and cashiers. Object-Oriented methodologies were used in designing and developing the system. Visual Studio 2010 was used as the IDE with Model View Controller architecture used to develop the application. Microsoft SQL (Structured Query Language) Server 2008 was used as the DBMS (Database Management System) and IIS (Internet Information Server) was used as the web server. This document explains how the design and developed Managers Daily Recap System (MDRS), would handle the above mentioned areas, and how it would be helpful to improve the efficiency and productive environment to all users.
