WEB BASED MOBILE DISTRIBUTED SYSTEM FOR DIAL LUCK PHONE SHOP

Abstract

The purpose of this project is to assist Dial Luck Phone shop. They are the authorized distributor for NOKIA phones for the Northern Province. Their distribution head office situated in Jaffna town and other regional offices are situated in all districts in Northern Province. In this competitive world, the Dial Luck phone shop mostly occupied with paper works. Since its organizational structure is huge, company management faces many difficulties in the manual works. In order to assist the client Dial Luck Phone Shop , Web base Mobile Distributed System has been proposed. This system consists of all the modules which are needed to handle Dial Luck phone shop effectively and efficiently and eliminates the drawbacks of the existing methods. Since it s a web based system, customer and staffs can access the system at anytime, anywhere and get the full benefit. Currently, the Dial Luck phone shop is handling their business process with the conventional paper work. This paper work leads the company management to face many difficulties in their business process. To overcome the problems that the Dial Luck phone shop is facing, the Web base Mobile Distributed System was proposed. This web based Mobile Distributed System was mostly been developed using open sourced tools and software. Hypertext Pre-Processor (PHP) which is a most powerful server side scripting language has been used for server side scripting and the Wamp server (Apache web server and MySQL) which is Backend (relational database management system). The Microsoft Visio Professional 2010 was used to draw the UML diagram of this system. This project is focused to give the Dial Luck phone shop an opportunity to do their business process without wasting their valuable time on paper work and provide better customer service. This will help the client to be in the top position on their business.
