To overcome these critical problems, it was decided to develop a computerized management information system to be resolved the complexity of the manual system and to be maintained its functions and data in a computer system with consistency and efficient manner. Main functionalities of the system were data management, charges calculation and report generation. The developed Management Information System for MCV Sports Club (PVT) Ltd is a WEB based in house system and consist of two components namely Front End (User Interfaces) and Back End (Database). This system had been developed according to the Rational Unified Process (RUP) Methodology which attempts to capture many of modern software development's best practices and supports Object Oriented Programming and iterative development as well. Iterative development provided management with a means of making tactical changes and improvements to the product during the entire lifecycle. The main technology used was PHP, is a widely-used open source general-purpose scripting language that is especially suited for web based development and can be embedded into HTML. The Apache has been used as the web server. MySQL is a popular choice of database for use in web applications which has the features of scalability, flexibility, availability and high performance. The developed system had been properly tested by using unit testing, integrated testing and system testing procedures to see that all aspects of the software are working correctly and also to be ensured a high-quality system at completion of the project. The main goals and objectives were achieved successfully up to the maximum client satisfaction during the development of this project through using the above mentioned technologies.
