Abstract: Hirol & Company (Pvt.) Ltd. is a construction and interior designing company which owns their own fixed assets like showrooms, office premises, stores, tools and equipment, vehicles and furniture etc. They want to keep accounts of all of those assets more effectively than today s procedure which they perform manually. The client has organized to maintain a documentation for their all businesses and day-to-day operations and therefor they managed to keep-paper records for everything. This has become a more time concerning and inaccurate when they use man power for all of these operations. Keep accounting records, salary records of employees, their quotations, invoices, records of tools and equipment, and keep records of their employees were the main problems they were facing as a huge burden to get solved. Because of their manual operations they have to spend more time and resources for managing the assets. Since they have various kind of assets their current procedures have become more time consuming and complex. Since they identified such problems they were searching for a better way of managing their fixed assets and by discussing with them and the Web based Fixed Asset Management system was identified as the best solution. The system is divided into three sub modules like Security module, Global Data module, and Fixed Asset module. In each modules several different tasks are assigned and performed which are related to fixed asset management. Basically, Security module touches the security level management processes within the system while Global Data module touches the reference data related to the system. The system was analyzed and designed based on Object Oriented concepts using Unified Modeling Language. It is developed in C#.net programming language and Microsoft Visual Studio 2013 is used as the Integrated Development Environment and MS SQL 2012 as the database management server. The client would be able to manage their fixed assets more effectively when they start to use this system.
