The Green Medicare Hospital System (GMHS) has been developed according to the Rational Unified Process (RUP) framework which supports Object Orientation and iterative development. The proposed GMHS was implemented using Visual Studio 2008 and SQL server 2005 is used as the database server. Coding was done using the C# programming language and the .NET framework. Visual studio s own reporting tool was used for report generation. In addition SmartDraw was used to draw the UML diagrams shown in this dissertation. The developed system has been properly tested using a comprehensive testing procedure which ensures a high-quality system. At the end of this project a standalone application that met the client requirement was successfully implemented installed at the client computer.
