MONTESSORI MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR DAFFODIL EDUCATION CENTRE

Abstract

Montessori Management System (MMS) has been developed as to encourage team members of Daffodil Education Centre regardless of geographical barriers and time limitations. By logging in to the system, registered members could be able to offer services their level they can and feel the satisfaction of being connected with the organization. This project is developed by me to make available the system for Daffodil Education Centre Staff and Management to automate the core manual workings of the organization. Montessori Management System supports the Main functions of Student Management, Student Payment, Receipt creation, Staff/Teacher Management, Event Management, Communications, Easy Email and Newsletter Management. The system also alert the pending payment. Reports generation for Admin level users are also further facilitated. This MMS is developed using PHP: Hypertext Pre-processor which is an open source server side scripting language, Apache as the web server and MySQL is used as Database Management system. This compact suit is found with WAMP5 which makes ease the installation and development providing good user interfaces a combined with each other. Further Macromedia Dreamweaver and Photoshop CS3 is used for designing purposes. System fulfils all cores and planned requirements. The Management of Daffodil Education Centre are satisfied with the web solution and wait to make use of this.
