Management System for Chani Learners (Pvt) Ltd

Abstract

Chani Learners (Pvt) Ltd has been running a manual system since it s initiation for handling students registrations, handling payments & billing, lessons schedule management and handling all the other administrative work including managing accounts details with lots of paper work, which needs lots of human effort & time. It s becoming insufficient as the rapidly increasing number of students registrations. And it has also been facing the problems with inaccuracy & unavailability of the relevant reports in timely manner for the management s decision making. The developed system is to reduce the time taken for this manual process & huge load of paper work. And another major goal is to reduce the huge work load of the receptionist/computer operator. System will also aid in tasks from registration of the applicants to generating reports in the current status & the profit of the company. It also automated some tasks like generating invoices, accounting related details handling. The project was implemented using Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 as the IDE and MS SQL Server as the database server. Coding was done by using the C# programming language and the .NET Framework. Visual Studio s Crystal Reports is used for report generation. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used for analysis and design & StarUML IDE was to draw the UML diagrams shown in the dissertation. At the end of this project standalone application that fulfilled the client s requirements was successfully implemented and installed at the client computer.
