STUDENT MANAGEMENT AND PROCESS IMPROVING SYSTEM FOR EARTH INTERNATIONAL Pvt Ltd

Abstract

This report discusses the Student Management and Process Improving System (SMAPIS) developed for Earth International Pvt Ltd. This system automates the work load of the Administration Department and enhances the performance of the institute and increase the efficiency. They suffer with huge load of manual functions such as manual student and lecturer registration, attendance calculation payment, file based records etc. and the project design to solve up all problems involve with this manual system. The system provide manage student payment, student payment and registration details, course batch branch details and due payment with reminders to the student via E-mail. The system provides search mechanisms and system alerts in order to enhance day-to-day activities, reduce manual labour hours, prevent redundancy and limit unnecessary paper consumption. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), object oriented concepts, Java language as the programming language on Eclipse as the Integrated Development Environment (IDE), Hibernate and Struts frameworks, server as Apache and MySQL database on Windows operating system. Jasper-Reports were used to generate reports.
