Title: PAYROLL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR RAIGAM TEA SMALL HOLDERS SOCIETY

Abstract: Raigam Tea Small Holders Society was started at 25th October 1990. It is founded by Mr.Upali Weerakoon and Mr.Wijewardana. Raigam Tea Small Holders Society is a society which collects the tea leaves from suppliers and handover to the tea factories. The tea factories which they hand over the tea leaves are Sunil Factory, Raigam Teshakthi and Kahawaththa Plantation. When the society starts there were 60 suppliers. But now the society has more than 1500 suppliers. They are collecting more than 80000 kilos per Month. Until very recently they were handling all the processes manually. Therefore the society was faced problems like more time consuming for calculating the supplier payments, data redundancy and data inaccuracy and decision making problems. The Payroll Management System is built to avoid those problems as a solution. This system covers all the processes of the society such as registration, expense management, stock management, order process management, attendance management, purchase management payment handling and report generation. Unified Modeling Language (UML) was used for analysis and design such as StarUML. This system was implemented using netbeans as the IDE, MySQL as the database handler and code is done by using java language. iReports is used to develop reports. The Payroll Management System was successfully developed according to the user requirements and this system would help to the society to work efficiently and accurately.
