dc.description.abstract | ID Systems Kandy is one of the leading computer services and sales company resides on Kandy. ID Systems consists of two sections, Computer Services and Networking section and Computer Assembling and Sales section. Currently both sections are handling their processes manually. All details are kept in manual handwritten books. All calculations are done manually. And also customer care and marketing are not many concerns in current system. This process contains lots of pitfalls for productivity of the company. New system was developed as a solution to overcome the pitfalls of manual system, containing main system functionalities like payment handling, stock handling as well as to provide additional functionalities like online customer services and marketing. The system basically concern about four sub systems namely, Customer care sub system, Stock management sub system, Payment handling sub system and Marketing sub system. The system was developed as a web based solution according to MVC architecture. Viewer and Controller was developed using java technology, mainly JSP and Servlet. Model was developed using MySQL. System with OO features were modeled using UML diagrams and also database system was modeled using ER diagram. This dissertation includes the introduction, requirement analysis, design, implementation and evaluation chapters as well as corresponding diagrams. Each chapter contains specific methodologies that had been used. By using the system, IDS can able to perform their works efficiently. They can handle payment details, stock details as well as can manage their most of the works accurately and effectively. Also they can gain high market share using online marketing. They can increase their customer base by cutting off delays and providing user friendly customer service. | en_US |
