Web Based Community Management System for Ananda College Hela Sisu Hawla Community

Abstract

Ananda college Hela Sisu Hawla society is a leading and active society which objectives are to improve members skills and knowledge. it is doing enormous service to its members by improving members learning abilities and provides free education courses to its members. it has several growing societies of other schools combined with it to improve education among school students. at present it has no such system to keeping track of all the members of the society. This system developed to overcome that situation and improve communication among society members. This system will manage new user registration and allow members to create their own space in the system. Other users can navigate through the member s profiles and communicate with each of them. by giving facility to create forums system will allow members to express their ideas about various information s and it also provides knowledge and opportunities that are only available for the society members. Email and chat facilities allow members to communicate with other members and increase interactivity among members. Upcoming events, meetings and other special notifications also can distribute through the system. Automated report generation help to decision making of the society. System was developed as web based system because feasibility of communication through internet is higher than other Medias. Throughout the project object oriented techniques were employed and unified modeling language was used in the analysis and design stages of the project. The system operates under Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition and developed using Macromedia flash, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe Photoshop. To develop the system Microsoft PHP used as a development language. To deal with database, Microsoft MySQL database server was used. Further to implement WAMP server technology was used and Apache was used as a web server. This dissertation illustrate all the work carried during each phase of the project development and carries all the necessary information s with appropriate figures, graphs and reports to understand the system properly. Through achieving functional and non-functional objectives of the project, this system will function as expected by the client and with user friendly interfaces it will achieve customer satisfaction. I strongly believe that the work which I have done will improve the day today work of the society.
