Title: Web Based Human Resource Management Information System for the AIESEC Organization in Srilanka

Abstract: The project goal is to design a full featured ?Web based Human Resource Management Information System for the AIESEC Organization?. The main requirements of the system that the AIESEC Organization needs were identified. The organization meeting of the president of AIESEC in Srilanka with me on 3rd of January 2010 was really a good discussion to find the main requirements that the organization expects. All the scenarios and use cases were noted down on that day for future references. To improve & make the best student run organization in Srilanka they have designed several plans in their national planning meeting as they said. The one main focusing area is to develop a member management system for their organization. Their current fields should be available in the system as they wish. AIESEC Organization is providing leadership opportunities and internship opportunities for Undergraduates & Recent Graduates to improve their professional skills. Mainly AIESEC Organization is focusing on Marketing, Management, Language, Engineering, Technical, Human Resource Management & Finance related job opportunities in foreign countries & local. To find companies & qualified graduates in the Universities they have a good member committee and local committee among the Universities. Their main focus is to have potential members and good leaders for their job roles. The AIESEC is not only providing leadership roles but also they are providing issue based projects such as AIDS awareness projects and under privileged school projects in SriLanka. Those activities and features should be controlled easily with the web based system they required. The Human Resource Information System (HRIS) is a software or online solution for the data entry, data manipulation and data tracking. The Human Resource System needs the Human Resource functions within a business or the organization achievements. Normally every HRIS has different capabilities. Authorization and accessibility of the appropriate functions should be a major issue of the system in a HRIS. Using modules and use case diagrams the different users were identified and categorized with their activities This web based Human Resource Management Information System was developed using PHP:Hypertext Pre-processor, which is a powerful server-side scripting language, and Apache as the web server. MySQL was used as the Database Management System. All together WAMP Server was used to develop the system more efficiency. This developed system is thoroughly tested to guarantee a validated system.
