Abstract

As the internet became the widely used layer among people and businesses around the globe, which connected each other in various aspects, websites became the doorway to expose business or personal intentions to the world. OpenArc System Management identified this and stepped venturing into the customized web designing for its customers with easy steps to serve the community and to build up the cash flow of the organization in the recession period that could help the company. This solution provided the prospects or the visitors to place inquiries to obtain quotations for their website design requirements through the internet. For those who registered were able to build up and customize, their own small-scale websites using this online solution with ease and securely in a globally accessible environment. As per their usage, they had to afford a payment in order to obtain more useful features, which were more than what they get during the free period. Rational Unified Process was the foundation, which flowed throughout this project lifecycle. As this project used Open-Source Technologies to build the solution, Object Oriented methodologies were used for system analysis, design and for the development. Implementation was also taken place using open-source web and database servers and scripting languages. Connecting the system to PayPal was a new venture. Through this product, the registered customers/users and the developers of the client organization were able to build websites in few steps at a short time. This documentation would guide how it was done by automating the customer web designing and development activities for the betterment of the client organization to overcome the current situation.
