Message Driven Mediation Component For Lanka Bell (Pvt) Ltd.

Abstract

Computerized environments are used to strengthen and simplify the business process through discarding the drawbacks in manual systems. Thus, computerized environments are highly populated, and it is proposed to implement a message driven mediation component to down load and convert the movement of each vendor s product (switches). A system has been developed to facilitate the downloading files as messages and identification of the conversion flow of mediation process in Lanka Bell by a Mule, as the preeminent open source integration platform. The movement of individual file will be tracked throughout their life cycle, such as to minimize exceptions at various levels of the operation, to ensure physical security of files, to monitor maintenance data, to minimize difficulties in authentication, authorization, and encryption concerns. The system was developed according to the n-tier architecture and Message Oriented techniques. Unified Modeling Language was used in the analysis and design stages of the system development life cycle. Mule server architecture and Java Message service was used to develop and implement the system in Java 2 platform. This application enables to deal with a few fundamental challenges in integration solutions such as Networks are unreliable, Networks are slow, any two applications are different and Change is inevitable, which are not facilitated in the current system. Further, it has features File Transferring using Shared Database and Messaging. This system has the advantage of overcoming the downloading and conversion errors and possible misuse of call detail records. This system provides various reports such as previous days and previous moths transactions.
