ONLINE DONOR & VOLUNTEER SERVICE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR AUM KRIYA BABAJI YOGA ARANYAM

Abstract

Online Donor & Volunteer Service Management System has been developed as to encourage people to do voluntary services for a charity organization regardless of geographical barriers and time limitations. By logging in to the site, registered volunteers could be able to offer services to the charity organization at their level they can and feel the satisfaction of being connected with the service organization. This project is developed by me to make available the information internationally and to automate the core manual workings of a service organization named Aum Kriya Babaji Yoga Aranyam (Yoga Aranyam) . Managing the voluntary services offered by its members and raising fund for the projects are the basis for the development of this web based system. Online Donor & Volunteer Service Management System (ODVSMS) supports the functions of online-volunteer registration, yoga classes scheduling, volunteer s sessions scheduling, displaying projects status, sending acknowledgements, donation acceptance, expanding the counseling services and to publish all Aranyam activities to the members and public in effective ways via quick updates of activities, member discussion forums and resources scheduling such spiritual books etc. Further it has been developed as to accept articles from volunteers and publish on website by having a content management system (CMS). Reports generation for Admin level users are also further facilitated. This ODVSMS is developed using PHP: Hypertext Pre-processor which is an open source server side scripting language, Apache as the web server and MySQL is used as Database Management system. This compact suit is found with WAMP5 which makes ease the installation and development providing good user interfaces a combined with each other. Further Macromedia Dreamweaver and Photoshop CS2 is used for designing purposes. System fulfils all cores and planned requirements. Volunteer groups of Aranyam are satisfied with the web solution and wait to make use of this. An online sale of Aranyam products is expected to be developed fully functioning with zero errors within next couple of months.
