Inventory Control and Invoicing System For PolyPlast Enterprises

Abstract

PolyPlast Enterprises owns three sub companies which sells rubber products for distributors. Currently company does not have an automated system to monitor their purchases, stock levels and invoicing etc. Mainly the difficulties encountered during manual processes of stock management, Invoicing and tracing debtors details. The objective of proposed project is to provide PolyPlast Enterprises, An automated system which covers full cycle of the company business. It will eliminate difficulties faced by employees and managers of PolyPlast Enterprises. Simple and straightforward user interfaces will be provided for employees to enter stock details, raise invoices and accept payments. Various kinds of reports will be provided for Managers to get Stock Reports, Sales Reports, and Debtors Reports etc. which can be used to forecast the future performances of the company. Three tire architecture concepts and object oriented programming techniques were used to develop proposed Inventory Control and Invoicing System. Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 is used as the integrated development environment and VB.NET as the programming language. Back end data base is on Microsoft SQL server 2005.
