Web based Student Management System For ITBS Institute

Abstract

Each day large number of businesses are going online to reach their customers. Internet has become an indispensable medium of communication as it makes the entire business process fast, accurate and profitable. Student management is one of the largest and fastest growing industry all over the world, which uses web technologies and resources to cater the large customer base. The diverse and competitive nature of the industry makes it extremely difficult to run without the help of web related technologies. Student management process of an institute will be the subject of this proposed project work. The existing manual system of my client is inherent with many shortcomings and constraints. Inability to manage registration properly which made by students, difficult to provide accurate registration status to students, difficult to find out history details for decision making and future developments etc. are the main limitations of the current manual system. Easy student management, library management and examination management, Easy way of sending Acknowledgements (emails), registration status tracking, available courses Tracking ,Administrative activities and History Records gathering mechanism will be the most important features which covered by this project. Under this project the customers who have been dealt with my client are able to interact through the web-based system. It is a convenient, powerful, high speed and easily and seamlessly accessible web based application. The proposed system has been developed using Object Oriented concepts, PHP and backend database has been deployed on MySQL. Accordingly, the proposed web based student management System will provide facilities to manage student efficiently and accurately.
