INSURANCE BROKERING MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR PD INSURANCE BROKERS

Abstract

This project focuses on PD Insurance Brokers organization. The main aim of this project is to give them an appropriate solution and run it smoothly. The solution has been named as Insurance Brokering Management System (IBMS). PD Insurance Brokers is a newly formed organization that has taken this dynamic step to change their operation cycle from manual to computerized system. Insurance Brokering Management System (IBMS) is mainly facilitating them to record their day-to-day business transactions and give reports to the management. IBMS captures client details, properties, policy details, debit note details, receipts & credit note details, Insurance company payment details, commission details and chq details. Based on the details IBMS gives some sort of reports. IBMS has been developed using .Net framework technologies VB.Net which is the most powerful, user-friendly development tool in Visual Studio package. Crystal Report is used for reporting purposes. My SQL, one of the famous open source databases, has been used the database management system. My SQL/.Net connector is used as the bridge between Database and the system. Rational Rose has been used as a development tool. The system has tested carefully with test data and actual data. Implementation of the system has been done successfully based on the designing aspects. The feedback from the client, end users and the other related persons were positive and encourage.
