SALES ANALYZING SYSTEM FOR UTN TRADING COMPANY (PVT) LTD

Abstract

To turn occasional customers into best customers, or to woo customers from the competition, wholesale distributors must predict who will buy what products and in what quantities. But in these days of mass-market, multi-channel sales, even the savviest wholesale distributor may find it hard to make such predictions. This document is rooted on developing a computerized system - Sales Analyzing System for a Whole Sale Distribution Company - UTN Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd. Using this system one can, not only analyze their sales data, but also predict future plans. This system is based on Object Oriented concepts, which enables one to utilize its features. The system is developed using Visual studio 2005 with C#.NET, and MS SQL Server 2005 Database Management System. Administrators of the system have enough features to handle the complete system. This will allows administrators to fix the targets for Distributors on a monthly basis, finalization of prices of the end products, create employees and assign areas, able to fix Conditional Items to a product to enhance the sales of the products according to the predictions of the future plans which they made and generate and maintain reports. Account Staff of the system has been given the major role in the account side of the system to generate GIN, GRN and Invoices. The system provides Management reports for administrators and for the Account Staff. The final goal of the project is to provide a fully completed Sales Analyzing System for the UTN Trading Company (Pvt) Ltd. This project enables them to succeed & improve their business strategies, via analysis of their sales data and predict future plans.
