The backbone of this project is the development of a web based Sinhala Crowdsourcing system, which is easily customizable to any UNICODE based language, including Tamil, as required. SMS technology is the most accessible and popular opinion gathering technique because of the wide usage in many communities. This would allow a large majority of the people of a given community to take part in information dissemination and gathering. Opinion Mining techniques are used to mine the ideas that are contributed by the people. Finally, the results are displayed in user friendly outputs to plant the essence of the content in people's minds swiftly. A Crowdsourcing system like this can ease the day-to-day activities of the public to a great deal. People get the opportunity to contribute their ideas and can see the different ideas of different individuals with different qualities. The processed knowledge can direct the public in the right direction quickly. Also, the quality of the society can be improved easily.
