Hasarel - ICT Based Solution to Improve Social Skills of Autistic Children

Abstract

Autism is a development disorder which has been improving over the past years. Weakness in social skills is the main consideration in this syndrome. Despite the impact developing countries like Sri Lanka does not pay interest on Autism Syndrome compared to the concern in western countries. Therefore the involvement of technology in improving social skills has not been addressed in Sri Lanka so far. In order to diminish the deficiency of ICT based solution for this occasion, we have addressed the research problem in developing an ICT based solution to improve social skills of autistic children. This study refers to discover design consideration and to develop the solution with evaluating the effectiveness of the system in making an improvement of social skills of autistic children. In making our effort success, we have researched through the problem and concluded design consideration with a developed system to improve social skills of autistic children.
