Abstract: In a restaurant, the traditional hand-waving method for calling services is inefficient and its often leading to many complaints. Customer satisfaction is the key to success for any business. The purpose of this project is to develop a software solution to automate current manual processes related to restaurant management. This system supposed to automate existing business processes such as table booking, reception hall reservation, and food ordering etc. by providing facilities for users to interact with the system. This system will provide access to different levels of users through the web as a client server model. Further this system supposed to reduce many time consuming, inefficient manual procedures regarding reception hall booking and food ordering process while increasing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. This proposed system will support for online food ordering, online reception hall reservations, online inquiries, online table reservations, meal order management, internal user management, report generation. Ability of meal ordering via mobile application will reduce the time and it will increase the customer satisfaction. Customers will get a mobile device on their table instead of a printed ala carte . Digital ala carte concept will allow customers to feel the food before ordering it.
