Online Job Board System

Abstract

There are many job seeking websites in the Internet. But many jobs seeking websites do not support real time access for job seekers in Sri Lanka. Because of that, job seeker must go online to apply jobs at every time. This project is aimed to develop an Online Job Board System to reduce the problem. The Online Job Board System provides real time access for job seekers in Sri Lanka on simple and effective way. This project helps to minimize the expenditure of the employer to selecting suitable employees. This system allow for single sign on login, real time data processing, SMS gateway integration and SMTP Configuration. As well as the system enable mobility, user friendly, easy access to get job details via SMS and higher data security for job seekers and employers. This System enable to search job, upload CV, Save Covering letter, apply for job, save job for further requirement, got SMS job alert and apply to job via SMS real timely activity for job seekers. Employers can handle their company profile, create an advertisement using template easily, post their vacancies and search CVs and generate applied job seeker s detailed report for their job. The system provides job seeker s privileges to employers. The administrator can active, de-active, pending, add, delete and modify users and jobs. Also, an administrator can handle the entire system configurations and generate various types of reports. An administrator has all other user privileges. The system provides to access facility for guest user to search job. In this system develop using PHP, CSS, JavaScript and MySQL. Ozeki Massage server, WAMP server and some open source tool are used to develop system. As the future work, human resource management module to be able to include in the system to manage the interview process easily. After the testing and user evaluation decide that, the online job board system is worked simple and effective way for all users. Finally it is concluded that system enhance job seeking facility to real time access via SMS.
