Abstract: Inventory management is one aspect of business that enhances a company s business performance. BrandSons Technologies (Pvt) Ltd uses a manual inventory recording systems which have caused data inconsistencies, difficulty in creating reports on time to take accurate managerial decisions as well as controlling activities, finding item availability which result in poor customer satisfaction. The objective of the project is to develop computerized information system to manage inventory and to help management to produce reports on time for efficient and effective decision making. A comprehensive requirement gathering was conducted using interviews and observation. Interaction models such as Use case diagrams, Object oriented design models such as class diagrams are used to understand the required system. Entity relationships diagrams are used to understand the database tables. Three layer and two-tier architecture issued as system architectures. Windows based application is developed with c# programming language to achieve the system objectives. Test cases are designed executed and recorded the test result to evaluate the system outcomes. As a conclusion this inventory management system is designed and implemented to gain the benefits as expected of the organization.
