BAR MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR SRI LANKA ARMY

Abstract

This document contains complete description of the project of Bar Management System (BMS) which I prepared for the Sri Lanka Army. The scope of this project is to solve existing problems in the Officer s Mess. The existing system in the corporation is a manual system which is very hard in handling. Issuing liquor are some of the highlighted areas in problem domain. The major objective of this project is to develop web based Bar Management System (BMS) for Sri Lanka Army using PHP, Apache and MySQL software combination and design an online Bar Management System with five security levels such as Administrator, Barman , Mess officer , Cen Commd and Other consumer Officers using object-oriented methodologies as well as structured methodologies. Members can get Monthly Bill using this system. At the same time can use the online system. Another objective of this project is to use the system, to check out a Bill via sending email and borrower information about bill can get as email or SMS. Officers work in different location. Therefore officer can get their liquor in different location. This System is very using full to handle those details. Because all things in one Centralized location, then easy to handle officer s bill in efficiency manner. This is also one advantage of this system.
